London: The makers of hit vampire franchise `Twilight` have denied reports that their upcoming film `Breaking Dawn` is headed for a 3D makeover.
Actress Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan in the movie, prompted speculation earlier this summer that the pictures would be shot with the latest technology for a 3D cinema release, saying, "I think it would be awesome."
But Summit Entertainment chiefs insist the rumour concerning the two `Breaking Dawn` films, set for release next year and in 2012, is "fabricated", Contactmusic reported.
A representative for the company said, "Neither film is being shot in 3D."
The film, about a mortal`s love affair with a vampire, starring Robert Pattinson and Stewart, has garnered fans across the world.
