Lindsay Lohan is in the news again - this time for a hit and run case in Los Angeles.

Melbourne: Lindsay Lohan is at the centre of a hit and run case in Los Angeles after a paparazzi member filed a lawsuit against the actress claiming her driver almost killed him.

According to a sources, the ‘Mean Girls’ star’s car allegedly struck the photographer and then sped away from the scene. The 23-year-old actor was not driving the vehicle but was inside the car at the time. And now, her driver is being targeted in a criminal assault with a deadly weapon investigation. The incident reportedly occurred around 12:30 a.m PT in front of The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, CA. The photographer was injured but was not taken to hospital, revealed the report. "Of course I’m going to sue them ... but I don’t care about the money,” a website quoted the photographer as telling the source. He claims he is "lucky to be alive", especially since the driver was wearing sunglasses while driving in a dark alley. "I want to press charges so badly ... she’s going to jail,” he said. ANI
