Stars are born…

After much speculation Aishwarya Rai announced her pregnancy (via pa-in-law, Amitabh Bachchan) to the world. The country celebrated the news with the Bachchan khandaan. Soon the media was told to behave and give the family the much deserved privacy. Baby B, rechristened as Beti B was born on 16 November. From her birthdate to how she looks, everything was speculated. No other child has had so much written about her from the moment she was born. Lucky girl!

Meanwhile, a few weeks later, Aamir Khan and wife Kiran Rao welcomed the birth of their first child. Born through IVF and surrogacy, the Khans announced the birth of their son few days after the boy was born. Whatever be the reason for such secrecy, the birth of Azad Rao Khan(he has been named after Aamir’s grand uncle, Maulana Azad) through surrogacy also raised hopes for millions in the country. And with acting in their genes, the country waits with baited breath for them to shine as stars.
