Winslet joins `no make-up` brigade of Hollywood beauties

London, March 05: Academy award winning actress Kate Winslet, who sported a makeup-free look for her award winning part in "The Reader", stepped out with a bare face in New York.

With her hair pulled back into an untidy ponytail and with no make-up on, Winslet looked worlds apart from her glamorous red carpet image at the Academy awards where she won the Best Actress trophy, reported dailymail.co.uk. Dressed down in a coat with jeans and trainers, the 33-year-old joined the growing number of Hollywood beauties who are stepping out in public, without pancake on their faces. Supermodel Cindy Crawford, actress Sharon Stone and Charlize Theron have all been clicked in public, looking their natural selves without make-up. Winslet had earlier said in interviews that as she is getting older, she is a lot more comfortable in her skin and does not care about how she looks. But the actress looked gorgeous on the Oscar red carpet last month, in a two toned Versace gown, which she selected after seeking the advice of three stylists. Bureau Report
