Bipasha confesses to being self-effacing rather than a party animal

Mumbai: Bollywood’s Bengali beauty Bipasha Basu may be getting all the attention in this world for being how she is, but the actress says that she doesn’t believe in being in the limelight all the time. Bips has revealed that she doesn’t like to do things for unnecessary attention and publicity, unless it’s for a film. The actress says, “I always keep a low profile when I don’t have a film up for release. I talk to the media when a movie is about to release because I don’t really know what can I talk about otherwise.” Explaining as to why she doesn’t have a problem in keeping away from limelight, Bips says, “You are either working or traveling. Then you also have your personal life. I don’t go for parties, so I am not really visible on the social scene either. We actors can’t be available 24X7 when we are working. I can’t be multitasking at work because I am already doing that at home. I also have to look after my finances, go through script narrations, etc. That takes away a lot of my time.” Well, we hope not every actor starts keeping a low profile, for the sake of Page 3 at least!
