Bobby Brown released on 5k dollar bail after DUI arrest

Belfast: Whitney Houston’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown has been released from a California jail after being arrested under suspicion of driving under the influence.

The 43-year-old singer paid a bail of 5,000 dollars on Monday afternoon, hours after he was arrested in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles. Brown was arrested around 12:20 p.m. on Monday after failing four field sobriety tests, the Belfast Telegraph reported. California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Harris said that the R’n’B singer was pulled over after an officer saw him talking on his cell phone without a hands-free unit and noticed he appeared to be impaired. It is reported that the singer’s blood alcohol level was .08 or higher at the time of his arrest. ANI
