Beyonce lends voice to kid`s show

London, April 18: Pop superstar Beyonce has lent her voice to a pre-school children`s show "WOW! WOW! WUBBZY!".The singer-actress will play Shine, the star of The Wubb Girlz band, on the animated comedy series and her cartoon character will debut on the Nickelodeon show April-end, contactmusic.com reported.

"I`m so happy to be a part of the show because I`m finally able to impress my nephew. I can identify with Shine, having grown up in Destiny`s Child. The Wubb Girlz are all about unity (and) they sing cool harmonies," said Beyonce. The Sing a Song tune The Wubb Girlz perform on the show will be available as a download on iTunes and other digital outlets from April 21. The Grammy award winner`s week-long stint on the kids` show will culminate with a Wubb Idol talent contest episode May 1. IANS
