Anupam Kher is my favourite actor, says Kanhaiya Kumar

New Delhi: Days after Anupam Kher's fiery speech condemning anti-national slogans in JNU and Afzal Guru event, Kanhaiya Kumar has said that the veteran Bollywood personality is his favourite actor.

"Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal are my favourite actors," Kanhaiya Kumar said in a conversation with BBC Hindi.

Interestingly, both the actors - Anupam Kher and Paresh Rawal support BJP while Kanhaiya Kumar is known for attacking RSS and BJP.

On March 5, Anupam Kher in an event had lashed out at those who supported people behind anti-national activities in JNU. 

The speech given by Kher had gone massively viral on social media. 

JNU students union Kanhaiya Kumar, currently out on bail, was arrested on sedition charges.
