Myanmar's Foreign Minister calls on PM Modi

 Myanmar's Foreign Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Wednesday.

New Delhi: Myanmar's Foreign Minister U Wunna Maung Lwin called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi here on Wednesday.

"Morning with Myanmar. PM @narendramodi meets U Wunna Maung Lwin, Foreign Minister of Myanmar," Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) official spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Maung Lwin, who is presently on a four-day visit to India, arrived yesterday to take part in the first India-Myanmar Joint Consultative Commission meeting. He is leading a high-level delegation to India for the meeting.

The Myanmar Foreign Minister will co-chair the Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting along with External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.
