New Delhi: Hours after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results for class XII examination, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the students passing the exam.
PM took to Twitter to extend his wishes and wrote: “Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed the CBSE Class XII Board Exam. Best wishes for a bright future.”

The pass percentage of girls stood at 87.56 as compared to 77.77 percent of the boys.
The overall pass percentage was marginally lower than last year where 82.70 percent students had passed the exam as against 82 percent this year.
Thiruvananthapuram Region registered the highest pass percentage at 95.41.
