Jammu: A militant hideout was busted by the security forces in Ramban district and a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from it, police said here Thursday.
In a joint operation by Rashtriya Rifle troops and police, the hideout was busted at Chaba, about 180-kms from here, in Ramban district last evening, they said.
The recoveries from the hideout included one AK-56 rifle with two magazines and 25 rounds and another eight rounds of Pika ammunition, they said.
In a separate incident, three militant sympathisers have been arrested from Mahore area in Reasi district, about 110-kms from here, yesterday.
The trio have been identified as Haji Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Farooq and Danesh, all were working for Hizbul Mujahideen outfit, they said.
