Notification would be issued on Saturday and
nominations could be filed till November seven for thirty of
the 81 seats in the state, an Election Commission release said
here today.

Scrutiny would take place on November 9 while the last
date for withdrawal is November 11, the release said.

Notification for the December 2 second phase polls for
fifteen constituencies would be issued on November 7 with last
date of nomination being November 14. Scrutiny would be held
on November 16 and last date of withdrawal is November 18.

For the third phase scheduled on December eight for
seven seats, the notification would be announced on November
13, the release said.

The last date for nominations is November 20 and
scrutiny would be held the next day. The date of withdrawal
was November 23.

Notification for fourteen assembly constituencies
in the fourth phase on December 12 would be issued on November
17 and last date for filing nominations is November 24 and
scrutiny a day after. The last date for withdrawal is November
27.

Nominations for the fifth and final polling for
fifteen seats on December 18 would begin with notification on
November 24 with last date for nomination being December one.

Last date for withdrawal of nominations was scheduled
on December 4 and scrutiny the next day. Last date of
withdrawal was December 12.

Counting would take place on December 23 with the poll
process ending on December 31.

The release said 77.63 per cent of the total voters
were issued identity cards and those remaining were advised to
approach election officials.
