1993 blasts case accused attacks police officer outside Arthur jail

Mumbai: The 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blast accused Feroz Khan on Tuesday assaulted a police officer outside Arthur jail on Tuesday.

Khan attacked the police officer when the constable was escorting him from Arthur Road jail to the special TADA court, police said.

Feroz Rashid Khan, one of the accused, suddenly pushed, abused and manhandled the constable Anupam Dange outside the jail, police added.

A case was registered against Khan under section 353 (assault on government servant) and other relevant sections of IPC.
