Insurance company Lloyd`s of London, who backed promoters at Aeg over Michael Jackson`s doomed ‘This Is It’ concerts, has asked a court in Los Angeles to dismiss a 17.5 million-dollar-policy against them as they claimed that the late King of Pop’s health issue was a lie.

Washington: Insurance company Lloyd`s of London, who backed promoters at Aeg over Michael Jackson`s doomed ‘This Is It’ concerts, has asked a court in Los Angeles to dismiss a 17.5 million-dollar-policy against them as they claimed that the late King of Pop’s health issue was a lie.
The company chiefs have refused to pay Jackson``s estate officials, reports Contactmusic. They claimed that the pop superstar betrayed them when they signed on as his insurance company and promised him a policy to cover any losses. Lawyers for the insurance men have reportedly alleged that Jackson and Aeg lied about the star``s medical history. According to TMZ.com, the ‘Thriller’ singer never disclosed that he was taking prescription drugs, including anaesthetic Propofol, prior to his death. ANI
