Mumbai: Hot babes Lara Dutta and Deepika Padukone have given gossipmongers a perfect instance to chat about. The two actresses, who are currently shooting for Sajid Khan`s ‘Housefull’, believe that their role is better than the rest. There have been instances of rivalry amongst female leads in a film, but this is hilarious! According to Lara Dutta, "The film has Deepika, Jiah (Khan) and me -- three girls. But mine is a great role. It`s the strongest role among the females."
But a source countered her declaration, saying, "Deepika is the main female romantic lead. She has most of the songs and romantic scenes with Akshay Kumar. Lara has a stronger role in terms of the dialogue and the comic sequences." But what is hilarious is – while the heroines are struggling to get more footage, lead actor Akshay is walking away with the cake. "Both believing that she has the best female role while Akshay has the best part by far," said the source. Akshay’s character echoes Dharmendra’s role in ‘Chupke Chupke’. ‘Housefull’ is a comedy of errors apparently inspired by Hrishikesh Mukherjee`s ‘Chupke Chupke’ about a house filled with characters coming and going and creating a commotion of mistaken identity. Now, we know why male actors rule Bollywood!
