CBI files chargesheet against Telgi's nephew in murder case

New Delhi, Apr 16: The CBI, probing the fake stamp paper scam, has filed a chargesheet against main accused Abdul Karim Telgi's nephew Tabrej Ahmed Telgi for allegedly murdering one of their employees.

New Delhi, Apr 16: The CBI, probing the fake stamp paper scam, has filed a chargesheet against main accused Abdul Karim Telgi's nephew Tabrej Ahmed Telgi for allegedly murdering one of their employees.
Telgi's employee Christopher Chennapa Bhatti, who had misappropriated about Rs three lakhs which were proceeds of fake stamp papers, was found murdered in March 2001.

The supplementary chargesheet, the first by the agency after being handed over the Telgi scam and its related cases by the Supreme Court on March 15, was filed in the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's court yesterday in Mumbai under Section 120-b (Criminal Conspiracy), 302 (Murder) and
other relevant sections of Indian Penal Code, a CBI spokesman said here.

The case is among the 48 handed over to the agency by the Supreme Court.
