Mangalore, Sept 11: Senior RSS leader and former general secretary of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Prabhakar Ghate died here late last night, according to family sources.
Ghate, 79, is survived by wife and two sons.
He was associated with former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee and BJP president L K Advani and engaged in social welfare activities.
Mangalore MP, D V Sadananda Gowda and MLA N Yogish Bhat have condoled his death.
