Bomb blasts in Manipur, 2 police men injured

Imphal: Two police commandos were on Monday
injured in twin blasts near Manipur Mountaineer Training
Association in Imphal West district of the state, where
militants have called for a boycott of Republic Day
celebrations.

Official sources said it is suspected that the bombs
were exploded by cadres of the Manipur People`s Liberation
Front, which has called for a strike from one am to 5.30 pm
tomorrow.

The injured commandos were rushed to the Regional
Instituted of Medical Science and Hospital.
