Bangladesh bomb blast victim dies

Dhaka, Oct 05: A 14-year-old boy who was among 100 people injured in bomb attacks at a crowded cinema and circus in Bangladesh a week ago has died of burn injuries, police said today.

Mukta died on Friday and was buried in his village in the
southwestern Satkhira district.

His mother is being treated at a Dhaka hospital for
serious burn injuries, they said.

Investigations are still continuing into the two bomb attacks which happened at around the same time on the night of September 28 in Satkhira town, which is near the Indian border.

Some 50 people are still being treated for serious burns.

"Ion is going on and several people who were detained are being questioned here and in Dhaka,"
