Chris Brown parties after sentencing

Brown danced away the night a day after his formal sentencing.

London: Singer Chris Brown danced away the night at a popular Hollywood lounge the day he received his formal sentencing for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown went to Guys and Dolls lounge and danced to Michael Jackson`s "Dirty Diana" number. "He stood up on the back of the booth when the song came on, got a mike and not only sung, but danced. It was insane and no one could look away," said a source. Earlier that day, Chris Brown was formally sentenced to five years probation in a Los Angeles courtroom as a result of his altercation with Rihanna, reports aceshowbiz.com. During the proceedings, he was ordered to complete 180 days community labour which will be personally supervised by the chief of police in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia. Brown is also required to report to a probation officer in Los Angeles and return to California every three months. He is expected to come back in court Nov 19 to provide update on his status to judge Patricia Schnegg. He is also ordered not to contact Rihanna for the next five years. His probation period will be over on Aug 25, 2014. IANS
