Upset over parents scolding, teenager commits suicide in TN

Salem (TN): A 13-year-old girl has allegedly committed suicide here by consuming poison after her parents reprimanded her for not concentrating on studies, police said.

The class-8 girl studied at the Edapadi panchayat union middle school and was upset over the scolding following which she consumed poison at home and died last evening, they said.
