Kolkata: Railway Minister and Trinamool
Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday favoured for a debate in
the Parliament on the 2G scam, saying truth should come out to
end controversy surrounding spectrum allocation.

"Truth should come out and let there be a debate in
Parliament on the issue," Banerjee told reporters here when
asked for her comments to end the continuing stalemate in the
House.

On November 20, Banerjee had assured of her full support
to the Congress-led UPA government at the centre over the 2G
scam, saying she had no objection over a debate in Parliament.
