Kate Winslet says she’s `just like any working woman`

London, Jan 01: Speaking of the difficulties involved in juggling motherhood with career, Kate Winslet has said that she is just like "any working woman."

The ‘Titanic’ star admitted that it`s not easy being Kate Winslet. "Yes, my life is incredible but, oh my God. I have to work at it. It`s the same for any working woman. You run and you work, you run and you work, and you try not to let anything drop,” quoted her, as saying. The beauty has two Golden Globe nominations this year, one for ‘Revolutionary Road’ and the other for ‘The Reader’. According to Hollywood insiders, it is her performance in ‘Revolutionary Road’, a 1950s drama directed by her husband, Sam Mendes, which will win her the longed-for Oscar. She married Mendes, her second husband, in 2003. She told the latest issue of Elle: "It was the last thing I expected, but it really was love at first sight. I woke up in the middle of the night after we`d met and I had this feeling in my stomach." “I just knew what it was. I didn`t want to stop being with him. I know categorically I`m married to the right man. I feel understood by him, completely known. And I get the enormity of what I`m saying, which is why I`m so grateful." On accusations that she tries too hard to paint herself as a "normal woman", Winslet said: "I guess I have to admit I do care what people think. I hate people thinking I`m some pretentious fraud." ANI
