Washington, Mar 20: The US-led military operation under way is codenamed "Iraq Freedom," US defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld revealed today.
"The coalition against Iraq called 'Operation Iraq Freedom' is large and growing," he said at a news conference.
"It is not a unilateral action as it's being
characterized in the media. Indeed the coalition in this
activity is larger than the coalition that existed
during the Gulf War in 1991," Rumsfeld said at a pentagon news
conference.
