Kangana Ranaut takes a jibe at Hrithik Roshan?

“It is absolutely wrong, but I feel it is not something which is very surprising. When my sister was in school, she faced an acid attack from a student and now when I am in a professional environment, a superstar is trying to put me behind bars. So, this is very common that happens in our society..”

Kangana Ranaut takes a jibe at Hrithik Roshan?

New Delhi: From referring to Karan Johar as the flag bearer of nepotism to being involved in numerous controversies, Bollywood's 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut has spoken, yet again!

The Hrithik Roshan- Kangana Ranaut controversy garnered a lot of attention and there was a time when the actors' fans were busy defending their favourite star. Kangana had pressed some serious allegations against Hrithik.

With time, the controversy died out but Kangana has passed a comment yet again.

Kangana was asked about the death threats that Deepika Padukone is receiving before the release of her film, Padmavati.

The actress was at Reebok's Fit To Fight Awards on Thursday night. The Simran actress opposed the attacks and said patriarchy in the society needs to be attacked.

Here's what Kangana told IANS-

“It is absolutely wrong, but I feel it is not something which is very surprising. When my sister was in school, she faced an acid attack from a student and now when I am in a professional environment, a superstar is trying to put me behind bars. So, this is very common that happens in our society..”

In case you read it all too fast, let us break it down for you.

''...a superstar tried to put me behind bars.”

Well, it isn't too difficult to guess who the superstar is.

Kangana further added-

“It’s a very common thing that happens in our society. Whether you want to attack an individual, or stand up against orthodox thoughts and patriarchy. We can call out individuals and it is not restricted to men, it includes women too. We must attack the thought, we should and we are, may it be through our work, speech or films. Hence, films are most important and we can reach maximum number of people through films.”
