New Delhi: Those present at the Gabba on Friday were taken by surprise when retired Australian skipper Michael Clarke's name popped up on the scoreboard.
To the disappointment of Pup's fans, there was no dramatic comeback for the batsman as his name erroneously appeared on the giant scoreboard.
Clarke himself saw the funny side of the incident, taking to social micro-blogging site Twitter to say, "Never say never.. Hahaha. Love the GABBA."
Interestingly, Pathan and Patel were included in India's playing eleven on scoreboard too.

The 34-year-old Clarke bid adieu to his international career last year after a string of poor results.
However neither the Patels (Munaf, Axar, Pathiv) nor Pathans (Yusuf and Irfan) have shown any signs of bringing down the curtains on their career for now.
