Cricket World Cup: Hashim Amla fastest to 20 ODI centuries

Sydney: South Africa opener Hashim Amla reached his 20th one-day century faster than any batsman during the World Cup Pool B match against Ireland in Canberra on Tuesday.

Amla`s career-best 159 off 128 balls came in his 108th innings, with Indian batsman Virat Kohli being the next best to reach 20 tons in 133 innings.

South African captain AB de Villiers had reached the landmark in his 175th match, while batting record holder Sachin Tendulkar achieved it in his 197th match.
