New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan was on Wednesday clearly upset with Indian commentators after MS Dhoni and co pulled off a miracle win against Bangladesh in the ICC World Twenty20 in Bengaluru.
Taking to social micro-blogging site Twitter, Big B said the Indian commentators were focusing more on other players instead of the Men in Blue.
T 2184 - With all due respects, it would be really worthy of an Indian commentator to speak more about our players than others all the time. — Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) March 23, 2016

Fans and followers of the duo then commenced a guessing game to figure out who the legendary actor's tweet was aimed at.
Bachchan claimed it was neither Sunil Gavaskar nor Sanjay Manjrekar. After these two names were ruled out, fans assumed the superstar was referring to Harsha Bhogle.
@AnthonyGoveas no not him not Sunil .. !! — Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) March 23, 2016
@VikasAgarwalll @AnthonyGoveas no not him either .. — Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) March 23, 2016
On Thursday, Bhogle took to social networking site Facebook to clear the air, responding to the criticism in a dignified manner.
While there is no clarity whether Bachchan's remark was aimed at Bhogle, the latter did send him a Direct Message on Twitter to offer a clarification.
According to Bhogle, the English commentary feed is aired to an international audience. Hence it is important for the anchor and experts to focus on all the teams participating in the tournament. Bhogle also informed in the detailed post that Hindi commentators had the luxury of covering all angles related to Indian cricketers as that feed was directed at a local audience.
