Yuvraj's act was quite similar to the one Gayle did after West Indies won their maiden World Twenty20 title in 2012 beating Sri Lanka.

New Delhi: Even though Yuvraj Singh joined the Sunrisers Hyderbad squad in the latter half of the tournament, he peaked at the right time and played some significant knocks for the team.

As David Warner & co lifted their maiden IPL trophy at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday, the southpaw was seen doing push ups in front of his team-mates.

It was quite similar to the ones Gayle did after West Indies won their maiden World Twenty20 title in 2012 beating Sri Lanka.

Even in last year's IPL, Gayle did push ups on the pitch after RCB chased down 81 in six overs against home team SRH.

After Kohli hit the winning six, Gayle rushed to the middle of the pitch and did push ups. Seam bowlers Harshal Patel and Ashok Dinda stood next to him counting as other members of side enjoyed the act.

When asked about his push ups after the match during a post-match show, the left-hander said that he could do only 15 push ups in the gym and decided to do the remaining 5 after the match.
