Sandeep Patil on MS Dhoni's future: Selectors only pick teams, can't ask anyone to retire

New Delhi: Chief selector Sandeep Patil on Friday asserted the fact BCCI had complete faith in ODI and T20I skipper MS Dhoni's captaincy.

Addressing a press conference in Delhi to announce India's squads for the ICC World T20 and Asia Cup, Patil stated Dhoni was the right man to lead the team at the moment.

Answering a question with regards to Dhoni's future, Patil said selectors can only pick teams based on the form of a player and had no right to tell anyone when to retire.

On whether Mahi will continue after the World T20, the former Mumbai batsmen said "what happens after that will see".
