Madrid: Guardiola, who is now at Bayern Munich, assured he would not be back in the dugout of the Catalan club where he grew as a player and where he had four successful years as a coach, reports Xinhua.
With the club ending last season without any title under Gerado Martino and now struggling for form under the recently arrived Luis Enrique, it's natural that Barcelona fans should look with nostalgia on those four years, but Guardiola will not return to the club.
"In principal I will not coach Barcelona again. I think that there are cycles in life and my cycle there has finished," he said.
However, the 43-year-old said he would return to live in the city.
"My wife works there and the idea is to stay and live there. When will that be? I don't know," he admitted.
