Prayagraj court dismisses bail plea of BJP leader Shyam Prakash in rape case

ADJ (POCSO) Alok Kumar Shukla rejected bail plea of Shyam Prakash Dwivedi and his friend Anil Dwivedi. Both are in jail after a case was registered against them by Police on September 16, for raping a BA girl student in Prayagraj. The complaint was lodged in the Colonelganj Police Station in the incident that goes back to the year 2019.

The Yogi Government of UP has allocated Rs 4236 crores for the Kumbh Mela running in Prayagraj. This is three times the budget of the 2013 Mahakumbh. Not only this, it is the most expensive Kumbh so far ever.
