The havoc of cold continues in the valley. Jammu recorded a temperature of 2.3 degrees. The lake has also frozen due to the cold in Gulmarg.

Srinagar records season's coldest night, Dal Lake partially freezes

Srinagar on Sunday recorded the season's coldest night at minus 5.6 degrees Celsius, the weather office said. A thin crust of frozen water covered many places inside the Dal Lake in the city.
