Farrukhabad BJP MP fires gunshots in RSS-run school on Dussehra, video goes viral

Agra: A celebratory firing video showing BJP’s Farrukhabad MP Mukesh Rajput has now gone viral on the social media. 

According to ANI, the 23-seconds long video shows the BJP lawmaker firing shots in the air.

The MP is seen firing several rounds in the air from his revolver. 

A group of RSS members can also be seen firing shots in tandem with the BJP MP. 

The video is believed to be shot during a ‘shastra pujan’ event at Saraswati Sishu Mandir – a RSS-run school - on the day of Dussehra.

However, when questioned by the reporters, the MP said it was celebratory firing conducted in a properly controlled environment at a secluded place.

The purpose of firing was to check if the weapons were in a working condition, he was quoted as saying by media reports.
