WhatsApp pinned chats feature now available for Android users – Know how to use it

New Delhi: Here's a good news for WhatsApp users! Now, you will not need to scroll down numerous chats to get to your favourite one.

WhatsApp has brought out a new feature that lets you pin your chats to the top.

The pinned chat is now available for Android users.

“With pinned chats, you never have to worry about scrolling through the long list of conversations to text your family members or your best friend. Users can now pin up to three of the most important group or individual chats to the top of their chat list for easy access – simply tap and hold a chat, and then tap the pin icon at the top of your screen,” noted WhatsApp in a press statement.

If you want to pin a chat to the top, long press the chat and you will see the “pin” icon on the top bar. To unpin it, long press the pinned chat and tap on the unpin button.

As of now, only three contacts can be pinned to the top.
