Reaping the benefits of his popularity and hard work, the standup comedian has bought a brand new Range Rover Sport luxury SUV worth over Rs 1.64 crore in India.

With this purchase, Anubhav Singh Bassi has joined the club of celebrities like Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Nimrat Kaur, Mahesh Babu, Alia Bhatt, and Allu Arjun as owners of Range Rover SUV. The popularity of the car is probably because of its luxurious amenities combined with its off-road prowess.

Bassi shared the news with his followers via his Instagram handle, saying "Sabr ka pata nahi, mehnat ka fal Range Rover hai. Thankyou for all the love everyone. Happy Diwali sabko." Which roughly translates to, "I don’t know about the result of patience, but the outcome of hard work is a Range Rover." The post was accompanied by a picture of the comedian posing with his new car.

Based on the looks of it, Anubhav Singh Bassi has bought the Santorini Black colour of the SUV. Besides Black, the car is also available in multiple other colours including Lantau Bronze, Firenze Red, Egier Gray In Satin Finish, Portofino Blue, Carpathian Grey, Eiger Grey, Varesine Blue, Giola Green, Charente Grey, Borasco Grey, and Fuji White.

The SUV is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of peak torque. All four wheels receive power from this engine through an automated transmission with eight speeds. Upgrade options include a powerful 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine with an astonishing 567 horsepower and 700 Nm of peak power and torque for customers looking for even more performance. This version can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds when coupled with an automated transmission.
