New Delhi: Superstar Aamir Khan can't be happier with 'Dangal' making waves at the box office worldwide and taking the mantle of Hindi films much higher. In China, the film has received a thunderous response, making 'Baahubali 2' filmmaker SS Rajamouli to think about releasing his magnum opus there next.

Both 'Dangal' and 'Baahubali 2' have started off a new club of Rs 2000 which will make it difficult for others to follow. According to noted trade analyst Ramesh Bala, 'Danger' has become the highest grossing sports movie of 2017 in the world.

It has even become the fourth biggest Disney backed venture after Beauty And The Beast, Guardians of the GalaxyVol2 and Pirates Of The Caribbean5 at the World wide box office.

'Dangal' is a biopic based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta and Babita. both Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari went on win laurels for the country. The former became India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. She won the gold medal in 55 kg while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver medal in 51 kg.
