New Delhi: Actor Abhishek Bachchan, who received rave reviewes about his performance in 'Manmarziyaan', has begun shooting for Anurag Basu's next project. Though not much has been revealed about the project, the buzz is there that the film will be a sequel to 2007 film 'Life In A… Metro'.
Abhishek took to Instagram to share a photo of Anurag Basu along with the caption, "On the auspicious day of Dushera we embark on a new journey. I hope Anurag is still smiling after I give my shot and the day is done too! #TakeTwo #ontothenextone."
As per reports, the film reportedly stars Rajkummar Rao and Parineeti Chopra. A while back, Basu had tweeted how he found it extremely difficult to cast for an ensemble film as everybody's dates needed to be matched.
For the unversed, the first part of 'Life In A… Metro' featured actors like Konkona Sen Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Sharman Joshi, Kangana Ranaut, Shilpa Shetty, Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali and Kay Kay Menon. The film had received a lot of critical acclaim for its story and screenplay. It was the 26th highest grossing Bollywood film of 2007. Despite taking a below average opening, it was declared a semi-hit at the Box Office.
