Baaghi 2 box office collection day 2: Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer on a record breaking spree!

New Delhi: Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer 'Baaghi 2' is unstoppable at the box office. This Ahmed Khan directorial became the highest opener of 2018. The film had raked in Rs 25.10 crore on its opening day and Rs 20.40 crore on Saturday, registering a total of Rs 45.50 crore.

Sharing the figure, film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted,"#Baaghi2 is a LOTTERY... Continues to SURPRISE [the trade] and SHOCK [the pessimists] with SENSATIONAL biz on Sat... Proves all calculations and assumptions wrong... Fri 25.10 cr, Sat 20.40 cr. Total: ₹ 45.50 cr. India biz."

The film has earned more than Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmaavat', 'PadMan', 'Raid' and 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety'. While Padmaavat collected Rs 19 crore on the first day, Baaghi 2 saw the highest opening ever of Rs 25.10 crore.  

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan took to Twitter to praise Tiger Shroff for the film.

Actor Akshay Kumar tweeted: "Take a bow Tiger Shroff. Bollywood can proudly announce that we have our very own Tony Jaa in the industry. Your action is a force to be reckoned with..."

Hrithik Roshan also posted on Twitter saying " Tiger Shroff, you'v done it. I'm now looking forward to working with the best action hero in the industry! Bravo! Keep flying high!"

'Baaghi 2' is the sequel to the 2016 venture 'Baaghi' starring Tiger and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles. The response to 'Baaghi' was stupendous and Baaghi 2 has generated similar vibe.

'Baaghi 2' has been making the right kind of noise right from the time the first look of Tiger Shroff was released. 

The film stars Tiger opposite Disha Patani in the lead. The duo is rumoured to be dating in real life and their on-screen pairing has certainly created curiosity amongst the fans.
