New Delhi: Kangana Ranaut is one of the most versatile actors in Bollywood. She has gained millions of followers in just a short span of career and has even received prestigious awards for her remarkable contribution to the Hindi cinema.

Kangana is known to easily slip into any given characters. We saw her playing an athelete in 2015 released 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'. The film went on to become one of the biggest blockbusters of that year and the actress received widespread recognition for playing the dual role of a troublesome wife and a Haryanvi sportsperson Datto.

Now, a report has claimed that Kangy is all set to play the role of a Kabaddi player in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's directorial 'Panga'. And the lady has started to gear up to not just master the tricks of Kabaddi but also to undergo complete physical transformation to justify her character.

The buzz is that Kangana will be piling up at least 6-7 kilos of weight to do justice to the role of a Kabaddi player. And as the film will progress, she will be back to her normal self to the petite figure she owns.

"Kangana will start training in kabaddi as soon as she is back from her vacation in New York. Though she is familiar with the sport, she requires training to showcase it like a professional. But, before she starts doing so, she will gain weight. She is on a high-calorie protein diet, and, over the next month, intends to pack on six kilos," Bollywoodhungama.com quoted a source as saying.

"Putting on more mass will be a task for Kangana as she is genetically small framed. Kangana may need to incorporate weight training exercises instead. So, it's going to be a gala time for Kangana to turn a foodie and enjoy a generous serving of nut shakes, fruits and tofu on her dietary chart," the source added.

Talking about the project, 'Panga' will be about a newage family who challenges stereotypes and dare to dream. Kangana will be paired opposite Jassie Gill.
