New Delhi: Bollywood's 'Queen' Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi'. The movie is being directed by Krish and produced by Zee Studios in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti. The film is based on the valiant Rani Laxmibai.

Pictures of Kangana, clad in a wine coloured saree surfaced on the internet. With flowers tucked in her hair and the gorgeous jewellery completing her look, Kangana looks absolutely beautiful. The 'Queen's regal avatar is sure to leave you spellbound.

There were rumours regarding the release date of the film which said that the Kangana Ranaut starrer would hit the theaters in August, instead of April. However,  the makers confirmed that the film's release date is yet to be announced. A statement was released, quashing all such reports around the release of the film.

The statement read: "This is with regard to rumours doing the rounds that 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' will now be releasing on August 3rd. The producers of the film, Kamal Jain and Zee Studios haven't officially announced the release date yet."

The movie also marks the Bollywood debut of popular television actress Ankita Lokhande.
