Oops! Rajinikanth says 'no' to Aamir Khan's 'Dangal'?

New Delhi: It's not always that legends such as Rajinikanth and Aamir Khan are associated with the same project. However, looks like Thalaiva turned out Mr Perfectionist request to dub for his character in Tamil for the dubbed version of upcoming wrestling drama 'Dangal', reportedly.

IANS quoted a source as saying, "Aamir had screened the film for Rajinikanth sir and also requested him to dub for his character for the Tamil version of 'Dangal'. Although moved by the film, Rajini sir politely turned down the offer."

Nitesh Tiwari has helmed 'Dangal' which is based on the life of Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters, Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari, who won gold and silver medals respectively for India at 2010 Commonwealth Games.

Jointly produced by Walt Disney Pictures, Aamir Khan and UTV Motion Pictures, the film is slated for release on December 23, 2016.
