New Delhi: Saif Ali Khan's latest release 'Baazaar', which saw a poor start of Rs 3.07 crore, has been moving at snail's pace on the ticket windows. After witnessing a 35 percent growth at the Box Office on Sunday, which was a good sign, the film has registered a decline again. However, as per industry experts, the Mumbai circuit has been performing remarkably better than the other zones.
Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the latest figures. He wrote: #Baazaar registers the normal weekday decline [44.63%] on Day 4... The film had a sluggish start of Rs 3.07 crore and collected Rs 1.70 crore on the day four, taking its total collections to Rs 13.63 crore. It is to be noted that despite the low start, its collection is way higher that Saif's recent released - 'Kaalakaandi' (Rs 1.25 crore) and 'Chief' (Rs 1.05 crore).
In addition, the film is facing a stiff competition from Ayushmann Khurrana's quirky-comedy 'Badhaai Ho' which is in its third week run and is marching towars the prestigious club of 00 crore.
Baazaar' is a business crime drama directed by Gauravv K. Chawla and stars Chitrangada Singh and Radhika Apte among others. It set in the backdrop of money, power and business, largely based on the Stock market.
