New Delhi: Even before superstar Shah Rukh Khan's promotional tours for 'Jab Harry Met Sejal' could kick off, the controversy surrounding a particular word stormed in. The chief of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Pahlaj Nihalani had asked to delete the word 'intercourse' from one of the mini-promos of the film for TV, saying he would retain it if he gets one lakh votes in its favour.

Now, SRK has clairified that there is nothing objectionable in the film. PTI quoted the king of romance as saying, "The way people have voted, they should come and watch the film too. I've said this before as well, we respect the CBFC a lot, they are doing their job, we are doing ours.

"Having said that, I don't think in the context of the film there is anything objectionable," SRK said at a special event where he launched the new song of "Jab Harry Met Sejal" here last evening.

Interestingly, while launching the second song 'Beech Beech Mein' , the entire team of the film along with SRK, co-star Anushka Sharma and director Imtiaz Ali, went club hopping. This is the second song from the film which came out after five mini promos and a celebratory track "Radha".

"The idea of coming out with the mini trails was very difficult. Once I had asked Shah Rukh Khan how can we cut a trailer for this film as there is so much happening in the film. I am happy that people are responding to it (mini trails) positively," Anushka said.

The film is scheduled to release on August 4, 2017.
