Shubh Mangal Saavdhan collections: Ayushmann-Bhumi can smile as the film stays rock steady at BO

New Delhi: The young and experimental actors Ayushmann Khurrana-Bhumi Pednekar can have smile wide as the Box Office numbers of their recent outing 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' look promising.

Bhumi has had a great year with two of her films 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' and 'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' hitting the jackpot at the ticket windows. This quirky love story between Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar at the backdrop of the never-addressed issue of erectile dysfunction worked well for the audiences.

Both masses and the classes have liked the film and the positive word of mouth publicity has definitely helped the Box Office figures. Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the weekend collections of the film.

'Shubh Mangal Saavdhan' has been helmed by RS Prasanna and produced by Aanand L Rai. The maverick Rai has been churning out some great film from his production house. Next, he is directing superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the yet-to-be-titled film where SRK will be seen playing a dwarf. The film stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles besides SRK.
