Varun Dhawan – Banita Sandhu’s soothing October teaser is a perfect Valentine’s Day delight

Mumbai: Shoojit Sircar unveiled the teaser of his upcoming romantic film October starring Varun Dhawan and newcomer Banita Sandhu. And it comes across as an ideal Valentine’s Day treat!

Going by the hints the makers have dropped so far, October will narrate a unique tale of love. It will “make you wonder about the beautiful journey of life and relationships”.

The official YouTube channel of Rising Sun Films wrote: “Here's a glimpse into the world of October that will leave you in a love-daze this Valentine's Day. (sic).”

October will mark Varun and Shoojit’s first collaboration.

Talking about his first film with Shoojit, Varun said, “Success gives you more confidence, only if something works then people want you to come back to it again. I never see it as an art or commercial film, for me it's either a good film or bad.”

“The kind of film that Shoojit makes, challenges every actor. I had great time working with him. It is a very special film and it is close to my heart. The way the film comes across... It has a very strong message,” Varun added.

We have seen Varun essaying a typical lover boy in the Badrinath series. We have also seen portray an intense character in Badlapur. So it would be interesting to see Varun in a love story that promises to be completely different from what we have seen so far.

A Rising Sun Films' production, the slice-of-life love story is written by Shoojit's frequent collaborator Juhi Chaturvedi.

The film is slated to hit theatres on April 13.
