Delhi comes calling for ‘Rockstar’ Ranbir Kapoor!

Mumbai: When most of the A-list stars were going crazy with the FIFA World Cup and were busy booking their seats for the final match in South Africa, Ranbir Kapoor held his ground to let ensure that the show doesn’t stop here in Bollywood. The sweltering heat of Delhi was not a deterrent for Ranbir as he went around the town with absolute ease shooting at different locales for Imtiaz Ali’s much awaited flick ‘Rockstar’. Crew braved the heat to shoot the first few portions of the film at the Hauz Khas Qila in south Delhi. Ranbir was spotted wearing a short black kurta and tattered jeans. He was seen practicing on the jumbo acoustic guitar before his shots. Reportedly, he was shooting for a song titled ‘O Dil’ for the film. A source further confirmed that Ranbir was in a Noida based news channel to shoot some portions of the film Director of ‘Rockstar’ Imtiaz Ali was seen with his long hair tied up behind and looked too busy giving instructions to the crew about the shots he had already planned well in advance. It is also being reported that the unit of ‘Rockstar’ has already canned a few sequences at pubs and bars in the capital in the last few days. The shooting was done hush-hush in order to not attract much attention. Even Shammi Kapoor, 78, was in Delhi to shoot some shots. He has a cameo in the film. Looks like for the illustrious Kapoor khandaan, the love of cinema weighs more than anything else in the world!
