Chandigarh: With marriage season around-the-corner, a three-day premier wedding exhibition showcasing latest trends in the bridal couture and groom designer wear is a big hit here.
The exhibition, which started here yesterday, has brought famous names from the fashion industry and elite jewellery houses from around the country under one roof, says organiser of `Wedding Asia 2011` Maninder Sethi.
"We have been organising the wedding exhibition each year since 2006 and this year we had our first event in Delhi in July, which like the current event, was a great success.
This year the theme is `The Royal Edition` showcasing the royal style in our weddings. We have brought 45 exhibitors under one roof, who are displaying opulent and immaculately crafted wedding wear for the quality conscious consumers," Sethi said.
One can choose from a wide range for the would be brides, grooms and also for family and friends, that includes casual coats, shirts, trousers, lehangas, sarees, gowns, jewellery collection including diamonds, emeralds, kundans, colored stone rubies and semi-precious stones.
"Fashion designers like Rohit Verma, Parul and Ashie, Rashita Sehra, Sakshi Kathuria and jewellery houses, some of them from Jaipur are showcasing their exclusive creations for the event.
