Reid manipulating situation: Chantelle Houghton

London: Model Chantelle Houghton says just when she thought cage fighter ex-fiance Alex Reid was changing for good, she realised he was faking it.

Houghton and Reid separated last month and after a bitter end they started to get along well, says the model in her column for New magazine. "Alex and I have taken a massive step backwards after we began to get on better last week," she wrote. "When he was being reasonable, I - like a fool - thought, `Oh God, maybe he does actually give a s***`," she added. Houghton, who has a four-month-old daughter Dolly with Reid now feels otherwise. "But I now feel like he’s manipulating the situation to make it look as though he’s making a real effort," she said. IANS
