Christina Aguilera fined for turning up late

London: Singer Christina Aguilera has reportedly been fined for being a habitual late comer to the sets of TV show `The Voice`.

Bosses of the NBC series might raise the amount of fine so that 31-year-old pop star becomes punctual for the third season, hoping the financial hit bothers her, reported Contactmusic. "Christina is consistently about two hours late. For season three this has got to stop. "Higher-ups on the show want to raise it to a number that does bother her so she actually arrives on time," a source said. Aguilera, who is a coach on the talent show, is bothering her fellow coaches Adam Levine, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton, who reportedly cannot stand the delay caused by her. "They cannot stand how late she is. They know she is a girl and she takes longer to get ready, but this is ridiculous. And when she gets to set she still has to go through hair and makeup," the source added. PTI
